Pediatric Dentists

Chad S. Eslinger, D.D.S

Chad S. Eslinger, DDS received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Geography from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Tennessee, Memphis College Of Dentistry. He then completed the pediatric dentistry program in 2002. He enjoys hunting, snow skiing and spending time with his wife, Joy, and their four children, Maggie, Reed, Seth and Eli.

J Wayne Newman, D.D.S.

J Wayne Newman, DDS attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University Of Tennessee, Memphis College Of Dentistry. He also completed a pediatric specialty program in 1991. He enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and skiing with his wife, Jane and children, Andy and Sally.

Jason Blair, D.D.S.

Jason Blair, DDS attended Middle Tennessee State University for his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Dentistry. He also completed a pediatric dental specialty program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in 2010. He enjoys CrossFit, watching sports and spending time with his wife, Joy and their four children, Jayden, Kerrington, Cameron and Landon.

Fred C. Whitmire, D.M.D.

Fred C. Whitmire, DMD was in private practice starting in 1978. He has been providing children in Chattanooga with exceptional comprehensive pediatric dental care. Highly educated, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham and completed Pediatric Dentistry residencies at Children’s Hospital and the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham. Dr. Whitmire strives to create a fun-filled environment where children feel at home and get excited about taking care of their teeth!

Ryan Wilson, D.D.S.

Ryan Wilson, DDS received his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Mississippi State University before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Dentistry.  He then completed the pediatric dentistry program in 2014.  He enjoys fishing, running, bicycling and spending time with his wife, Kate, and their children.

Daniel Holsinger, D.D.S, M.D.S.

Daniel Holsinger, DDS, MDS received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Union University before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Dentistry in 2010. After working as a general dentist for three years, Dr. Daniel returned to the University of Tennessee, Memphis to complete his Master of Dental Science and the pediatric dentistry program in 2015. Dr. Daniel practiced pediatric dentistry in the Nashville area for three years before moving to Chattanooga. He enjoys attending sporting events, being outdoors and spending time with his wife, Sadie.

Orthodontists

K.C. Dyer, D.D.S., M.D.S.

Dr. K.C. Dyer., DDS, MDS is a graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga and received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. He earned Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Dental Science (MDS) degrees from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. A diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, he is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists. A member of First Centenary Methodist Church, Dr. Dyer enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Janice, and their children, Brooke and Cooper.

Jeril Cooper, I.V., D.M.D.

Dr. Jeril Cooper, IV, DMD earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, and later obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and specialized orthodontic certification from the Medical College of Georgia. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Tennessee Dental Association, and the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Cooper is an active member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, and enjoys golf, basketball, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife Emily and his children Bo, Clay and Callie.

Andrew McDaniel, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Andy McDaniel, DDS, MS is a graduate of The Baylor School. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in North Carolina, he then graduated top of his class at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. McDaniel received his Certificate and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Chattanooga Area Dental Society, Lookout Dental Study Club, and awarded Diplomate by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. McDaniel enjoys golf, fishing, skiing, Tennessee football and spending time with his wife, Marla, and son Owen and Wyatt.

James McDaniel, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. James McDaniel, DDS, MS received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he also earned Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in Orthodontics degrees. Dr. McDaniel is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Chattanooga Area Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Tennessee Association of Orthodontists and Lookout Dental Study Club. Additionally, he is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists. In 2007, he was named as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Tennessee. Dr. McDaniel enjoys golf, snow skiing, fly-fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
