Dr. Wilson has always been interested in science, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Mississippi State University before pursuing a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Memphis College of Dentistry!

A long-time member of the Chattanooga community, Dr. J. Wayne Newman received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Memphis College of Dentistry, also completing a pediatric specialty program in 1991.

Meet Mabel, Our Pet Therapy Dog!

Meet Mabel, our newest PDOC team member and pet therapy dog! Mabel is an 8-year-old multigen labradoodle who has been a part of the UTK H.A.B.I.T. (Human Animal Bond Tennessee) program for over 6 years, visiting nearby schools and patients at Erlanger Hospital. She loves hugs, car rides and drive-thrus with pup cups. Mabel has enjoyed a nice relaxing summer and is ready to meet the patients of PDOC! Come and see Mabel at our Cleveland Pediatric Dental location.
