Registered Dental Assistant: North Georgia

Registered Dental Assistants assist the dentist chairside with a variety of procedures for pediatric patients including extractions, fillings, pulpotomies and crowns. Assistants may also perform coronal polishing and place sealants. A detailed record of each visit is documented and any future treatment needed is planned. Dental assistants must establish a rapport with patients and parents, ensuring a positive dental experience. Assistants must educate patients and parents of good oral hygiene techniques and maintain daily schedules to ensure workflow efficiency and patient flow. Skills:

• High school diploma, GED equivalency, Registered Dental Assisting License
• Radiology, nitrous monitoring, coronal polishing and sealant certifications are preferred. If you do not current possess all certifications, we will make a plan to help you obtain those upon hire.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret doctor instruction as well as follow detailed instructions
• Must possess a positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Previous dental experience is preferred but not required
