Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator

Job description

Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator (Dalton Office)

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be the first employee our patients meet and are responsible for creating a memorable first impression. Scheduling Coordinator duties include scheduling patient appointments via telephone and in person. Responsible for maintaining patient flow through effective scheduling. Should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. Responsible for verifying and collecting patient information and insurance information. Skills:

Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role preferred

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant

Job description

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant (Dalton Office)

Orthodontic Clinical Assistants assist orthodontists in variety of tasks including bonding brackets, placing wires and bracket ties etc. Clinical assistants clean and sanitize instruments, utilize 3D digital scanners and perform various x-rays for patients. A detailed record of each visit must be documented including service provided, hygiene and next procedure steps.

Clinical assistants must establish a rapport with patients and parents, ensuring a positive orthodontic experience. Must instruct patient and parents of good oral hygiene techniques. Skills:

High school diploma, GED equivalency, Registered Dental Assisting License.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Doctor instruction as well as follow detailed instructions.
Must possess a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
Previous orthodontic experience preferred.

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you are the first employee our patients meet and must welcome patients with a positive attitude. Scheduling Coordinator duties include scheduling patient appointments over the phone and in person. You will manage various front-desk responsibilities, interact with patients and families, and maintain patient flow through effective scheduling. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. You will be responsible for verifying and collecting patient information and insurance information. Multitasking is essential for this position.
