Job description

Orthodontic Clinical Assistant (Dalton Office)

Orthodontic Clinical Assistants assist orthodontists in variety of tasks including bonding brackets, placing wires and bracket ties etc. Clinical assistants clean and sanitize instruments, utilize 3D digital scanners and perform various x-rays for patients. A detailed record of each visit must be documented including service provided, hygiene and next procedure steps.

Clinical assistants must establish a rapport with patients and parents, ensuring a positive orthodontic experience. Must instruct patient and parents of good oral hygiene techniques. Must maintain daily schedules to ensure workflow efficiency and patient flow. Please send your resume and cover letter to braces@pdoc.com.

Skills:

High school diploma, GED equivalency, Registered Dental Assisting License.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Doctor instruction as well as follow detailed instructions.
Must possess a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
Previous orthodontic experience preferred.
